Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop, if required, the necessary EHS standards to ensure the environmental, health, and safety of plant personnel, visitors and contractors and as PEC pillar leader, need the progress is based on company requirement.
  • Coordinate the efforts and coach personnel through the development of critical documentation and tools to support risk assessments, safe work practices and adverse event/near miss reporting & investigation and Target Zero board initiate by global EHS.
  • Work closely with plant leadership to ensure continual improvement and compliance in EHS activities. Develop and implement plant workplace inspections and audits to identify workplace hazards and exposures. Determine trends and action plans for remediation and corrective actions.
  • Provide EHS direction, assistance and support for corrective actions and recommendations to assure site EHS improvements and ensure all certification related is compliance.
  • Help create a culture of injury-free attitudes within the site team by demonstrating honest, genuine care and passion for EHS. Review and assist in the development of new facilities and processes to ensure optimum HS&E practices are integrated as part of the change.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Safety, and Health or related field from an accredited college or university and M.A in Environmental Health and Safety is a plus
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a Manager and 5 years in a related area. Good training and presentation skills, techniques, applications, and practices.
  • Knowledge of the USA and local regulatory compliance requirements
  • Holder of Green book registered with DOSH and well versed with Safety and Health legislative requirements
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Good English communication skills both verbal and written
